More Information

Professional Bartender Course

Our 32-hour course trains aspiring bartenders how to free-pour over one hundred drinks including highballs, tropicals, shots, martinis, and much more. Students will learn the history, brands and distilling process for liquors, cordials, beer, wine and Champagne. We cover liquor laws and liability, customer service, serving private parties, and more. This class begins at a basic level – no previous experience is necessary. Anyone can attend class – there is no age limit. You must be 21 to bartend in Oklahoma, but not 21 to go through bartending school. In order to focus our instructor’s attention on each student we limit this course to three students per class. Students will have plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor for asking questions and instructor observation.

Spontaneous Bartender Course

Do you find yourself making your own drinks at home, and wish they could turn out like your favorite bartender makes them? Are you the one at the party that ends up in the kitchen making drinks for everyone, or just wish you knew more about your favorite drink? Our Spontaneous Bartender Course is exactly what you need! As opposed to our Professional Bartender Course, which is focused on complete bar knowledge and job placement, this course will present to you basic bar procedures and popular drink recipes, such as Martini, Margarita, Old Fashioned, Long Island Tea and more! This is a six hour class that is less intense than the Professional Course. Tuition is $250 per person or $400 per couple. Classes are held on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm are limited to six students. Contact us to be placed on the schedule for an upcoming class.

Professional Bartender Course tuition is $700. Spontaneous Bartender Course tuition is $250 per person or $400 per couple. We offer group enrollment discounts, so if you have friends interested in bartending school consider enrolling together. Contact us to receive our monthly emails, as we periodically run tuition specials. The tuition is due when you enroll or you can choose “Bill Me Later” from PayPal, which will give you up to six months to pay your tuition.

Class Times

For the Professional Bartender Course, students can enroll in a one-week or two-week course. Both programs cover the same material at the same cost. One-week students attend 8 hours of class each day Monday through Thursday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm). Two-week students attend 4 hours of class Monday through Thursday for two weeks. Two-week students can choose from: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, or 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Spontaneous Bartender classes are held one Saturday each month from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Job Placement

When bars and restaurants call us looking for Blue Label graduates we forward their requests to our graduates. We put you in touch with the establishments that are hiring. We do not guarantee you a job, and students should beware of any school or program that guarantees employment. Only a bar owner or manager can guarantee you a job! Over 80% of our graduates find a bartending job within three weeks of graduation.

Internet Courses: Don’t Be Fooled!

Some websites claim they can make you a bartender with a book or DVD for as little as $99. Don’t fall into the trap! Bartending is a hands-on profession. The only way to be fast and accurate is by practicing behind a working bar while being observed by an experienced instructor. Books and DVDs can enhance your knowledge, but they should be used as accessories to your training, not a replacement for training. To those who choose an internet course: best of luck finding a website that will offer job placement assistance, or finding a bar manager that will hire you with an online certificate.
